CACI International Digital Content Strategist in Arlington, Virginia

What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is looking for a savvy Digital Content Strategist who will collaborate with customers to develop a full and detailed digital content strategy, including reviewing, updating, and effectively organizing existing content, as well as creating new content to match DHS CISA’s strategic objectives and mission requirements. The Digital Content Strategist position requires a creative and curious problem-solver who understands the user experience (UX) and digital engagement strategies.

In this role you will oversee a team of four (4) technical writers, providing oversight for content reviews, ensuring web/mobile products are up to date, understandable, and meet organizational objectives.

More About the Role:

  • Plan, develop, and implement digital content strategies on a diverse range of topics such as cybersecurity, infrastructure security, emergency communications, and risk management, by driving conversations and partnering with stakeholders across the agency

  • Write and edit content for multiple channels in existing and newly created formats, as required

  • Provide day-to-day support of web and content publishing in tandem with content updates, refresh, and enhancements

  • Take measures to understand optimal customized solutions through defining audiences and utilizing available metrics

  • Provide meaningful analysis of client’s content platform success using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other platforms

  • Coordinate effectively to define content requirements and create content strategy deliverables across the project life cycle and beyond

  • Restructure and rewrite content in an understandable and professional manner, while maintaining the core intent.

  • Apply focus on collaboration and critical thinking to internal team and cross agency discussions

  • Learn about and plan with each respective division within CISA applying aspects of networking to better understand each division’s lines of business in a content auditing capacity

  • Understand user through analytical analysis and create stakeholder profiles, taxonomies, metadata frameworks, and non-technical content migration plans

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Ability to attain DHS EOD

  • BA + 13 years’ applicable experience, AA + 15 years’ applicable experience, MA + 10 years applicable experience or 19 years’ experience 4+ years of technical writing experience

  • Bachelors in Communications, Marketing, Journalism/English, Usability/Research, or Business Psychology or comparable experience and a portfolio that demonstrates excellence in digital content design, including writing samples, wireframes, and messaging hierarchies

  • Experience managing client relationships and varying types of deliverables

  • Prior experience crafting digital content. Experience in creating copy decks or prototypes that capture online and mobile content, authenticated spaces and user content flows is key

  • Experience developing and analyzing content in digital environments such as: content audits, content strategy recommendations, persona assessments, taxonomy efforts, and applied usability learnings

  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills with commitment to a higher standard
