What You’ll Get to Do:

As the director of CIO Management Consulting, you will be responsible for providing program oversight for Federal CIO contracts, business development support for program growth and thought leadership in a wide range of technology projects to support the business priorities of the directorate.

More About the Role:

This role works closely with business group leadership, business development personnel and other directors in the development of high-level plans for business capability development and serves as a subject matter expert and internal consultant during the design and execution of business capabilities and outreach. You will be responsible for managing several small programs and additionally you will be supporting with business development activities within the division including capture for line opportunities and proposal development. This position reports to the Division Vice President, and is an integral member of the division’s leadership team.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designated Review Authority for program portfolio of contracts

  • Identifies, analyzes and defines project/program requirements and scope.

  • Exercises broadly delegated authority for planning, directing, coordinating, administering, and executing many routine and complex projects/programs

  • Management and guidance of Program Managers running contracts

  • Responsible for complex program management tasks and development of standards and processes for scheduling, administration, and accounting.

  • Responsible for Program growth and P&L

  • Provides thought leadership and subject matter expertise in a wide range of strategic initiatives driven by technology

  • Develops performance plans and evaluations of employees, including subordinate supervisors as well as reviews evaluations to assure equity of individual employee performance objectives, standards and ratings among lower level staff/groups.

  • Develops business capability for high-level plans and helps Federal CIOs with their prioritization by coordinating the IT 2-3 year technology roadmap

  • Responsible for monthly PMRs, reports and ensuring PTP and maintaining and growing CACI DL numbers as established by management

Provides strategic leadership and direction for enterprise process improvement initiatives, including implementing Agile processes for improved program performance.

  • Must possess an aptitude for translating complex, technical subjects into clear, business-oriented communications

  • Strong business acumen

Ability to work across diverse organizations and lead complex internal and external project teams.


  • Experience in CIO Consulting industry

  • 20 years of experience in technology planning and leadership of major initiatives

  • More than ten years of people management experience

  • Experience should include high impact, high business risk accountabilities

  • Proven track record with the ability to accurately execute large programs

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, business, or a related field

Certification Requirements- Desired

Project Management Professional (PMP)

Federal CIO Certification


CSM – Certified Scrum Master


AWS Certification
