CACI International Government Compliance Analyst in Arlington, Virginia

Job Description

CACI is looking for an energetic professional with outstanding analytical capabilities to join our Government Compliance team; a self-starter and enthusiastic team member who is highly organized with excellent attention to detail. This role will be a contributor to the Government Compliance team and will assist in supporting DCAA’s Incurred Cost audits. The success candidate will require to have experience in government contracting and good understanding of the FAR and CAS.

The Government Compliance Analyst 3 must exercise judgment and possess strong problem-solving skills in performing his/her duties while complying with established policies and procedures. This is a full-time regular position that will work in our Arlington (Ballston) headquarters.

What you'll get to do:

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Government Compliance and will:

  • Acts as liaison with DCAA/DCMA and interface for reviews and audits

  • Works with management to ensure compliance with government laws

  • Maintain appropriate records and documentation; tracks, monitors, and reports data to support government compliance

  • Identifies potential government compliance problems and works to resolve them as well as to prevent future problems

  • Works with managers from other departments to identify potential compliance issues in a proactive fashion

  • Assists management in creating training sessions with employees to address compliance issues

  • Provides advice and guidance to less experienced government compliance analysts

  • Special projects, as required

You'll bring these qualifications:

  • Experience in government contracting and familiarity with FAR and CAS

  • Experience in preparing the Incurred Cost Submission

  • Advanced Excel proficiency

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain and defend a point of view

  • Self-starter able to take initiative within a fast paced, agile environment

  • Must have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint

  • Ability to build effective client relationships adapting style to the client

  • Well organized and confident to work independently but be a strong team player

  • Ability to effectively manage ambiguity and multi-task on a variety of initiatives

  • Solid business acumen

  • Demonstrates confidence and credibility

  • Good judgment and decision-making skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Have knowledge and experience in auditing

  • Ability to effectively interact with DCAA auditors and work independently

  • Strong analytical and critical think capabilities is desirable

  • Experience in Deltek Costpoint and IBM Cognos is a plus

Education and Experience:

  • BS in Accounting, Finance or related field with an Accounting/Auditing focus is highly preferred. 3-5 years of related experience required. Must be fully competent in Government compliance issues, specifically related to FAR and CAS regulations.
