What You’ll Get to Do:
As a CACI J39-SAB Sensitive Special Operations Planner, you will support the J39-Special Activities Branch (SAB) in the planning and execution of operations by drafting and maintaining currency of policies, programs, and other regulatory documents. You will assist with conducting, conferences, working groups, and organizational meetings.
More About the Role:
You will assist in the development, synchronization, and deconfliction of strategic-level IO planning and operations; coordinate with other COCOMs, JS, and other agencies conducting strategic IO; create and manage all phases of classified strategic operations, to include measures of performance and measures of effectiveness. You will also participate in working and planning groups to coordinate the input of SOF core activities throughout J39-SAB sensitive activities (SA) planning efforts; Contribute inputs in efforts to draft, edit, review, staff, and provide recommendations for SOF-specific SA-related plans, policies, and briefings that support the development of SA plans. You will identify, prioritize, and assess SOF operations, activities, and actions to maintain awareness, oversight and support of SOF SA, and recommend measures of effectiveness and measures of performance; Draft, edit, review, and staff key USSOCOM documents to provide relevant resourcing, training, and strategy development to J39 leadership. You will assist in the planning, coordination, and conducting conferences, working groups, and organizational meetings to support mission planning objectives and command-directed tasks; Prepare, review, and present SOF specific SA related briefings, after action reviews, and white papers.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
B.A. or B.S. degree in any field, or 10 years of military/DOD experience in sensitive activities (SA)
Graduate of a joint professional military education course, intermediate development course, or interagency equivalent course
Completed at least one JS, COCOM, TSOC, or multi-national staff tour
7 years of experience in special operations planning and operations; to include direct action, special reconnaissance, counterproliferation of weapons of mass destruction, counterterrorism, unconventional warfare, foreign internal defense, security force assistance, counterinsurgency, information operations, military information support operations, civil affairs operations
7 years of experience in SA planning, management, or oversight at either the strategic or operational level (i.e., JS, COCOM, or TSOC)
Possess a current Top Secret clearance with access to sensitive compartmented information
