CACI International Lead Systems Administrator in Arlington, Virginia
What you'll get to do:
Daily responsibilities include system administration, installation and configuration of software on new servers to build new operational environments and provide additional system capacity. Daily activities could also include assisting stakeholders (application admins, cybersecurity, developers, etc.) with system and/or security access or needs, troubleshooting system and performance issues, on-going maintenance (including security patch application and upgrade planning), and the application and maintenance of multiple STIG controls. Other ongoing responsibilities may include creation and maintenance of project documentation, (configuration guides, system specifications, workflow diagrams, etc.), providing assistance to other Infrastructure team members, and ad hoc initiatives and activities as assigned by the Infrastructure Manager.
Qualifications you'll bring:
Expert-level knowledge in technical design, planning, implementation, and the highest level of performance tuning and recovery procedures for mission critical enterprise systems.
knowledge in the area of systems administration for complex operating systems
Possess ability to identify methods, solutions, and provide project leadership and management at a high level of service to the customers.
Ten or more years’ professional experience in Army, DoD, or IC in a related field
Ten or more years IT experience in the DoD or IC
Shall possess at the time of proposal, and retain, an active SECRET security clearance
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or information systems, or relevant technical field and at least 15 years of direct experience in Systems Administration
