CACI International Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) and NLCC Oversight Support Specialist in Arlington, Virginia
What You’ll Get to Do:
You will support the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Communications, Command and Control, Cyber and Business Systems (DASD C3CB) and be part of a team of subject matter experts and technical support analysts producing deliverables, reports, results and recommendations to support informed decisions relating to program investment strategies, guidance and directives, acquisition strategies and funding allocations for DASD C3CB areas of responsibility and oversight.
More About the Role:
In support of Command and Control (C2) for DASD C3CB, you will:
Provide a wide range of technical, engineering, acquisition, and programmatic expertise to support acquisition oversight of the NC3 and National Leadership Command Capability (NLCC) portfolio of programs, projects, and activities;
Provide a wide range of technical, acquisition, and programmatic assessments and recommendations for NC3 and NLCC systems in support of capability portfolio management and acquisition decisions related to NC3 and NLCC portfolios;
Assess the cost, schedule, performance, supportability, and risk of NC3 and NLCC programs, as directed by DASD C3CB leadership, to monitor program execution and support acquisition oversight of NC3 and NLCC portfolio;
Provide integration support across the NC3 and NLCC domain, including investment portfolio, critical path, and mission analyses;
Lead, participate, and support special access program (SAP) activities as tasked, to include portfolio management;
Attend, participate, and support NLCC and NC3 governance councils, working groups, conferences, and events including but not limited to Council on Oversight of the National Leadership C3 System, NLCC Executive Management Board, NLCC Senior Steering Group, NLCC Assessments Working Group, NLCC Resources Working Group, and NC3 Issues Working Group; and
Prepare and deliver plans, briefings, and reports to support acquisition oversight of the NC3 and NLCC portfolio of programs, projects, and activities.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in the following areas:
NC3 and NLCC systems, architecture, acquisition programs, and projects;
Capability portfolio management;
Basic knowledge of NC3 and NLCC missions, concepts of operations, roles and relationships across DoD;
DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) System, DAS, and Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS); and
Interfacing smoothly and comfortably with program managers and engineers from various military services, agencies, and combatant commands.
