What You’ll Get to Do

As a CACI-Wexford Operations Integrator, you will support the DoD National Security Innovation Network (NSIN) mission to bring together defense, academia, and industry to solve some of the most challenging and complex national security problems. You will provide embedded and reach back support at all echelons, providing expert advice and operational planning and mission expertise, leveraging information, qualitative and quantitative research and operations-intelligence analysis and technology to develop processes that enhance situational understanding and identify and employ information and tools that will enhance planning, training and operations. As required, you will interact directly with the supported units during the development of intelligence products while coordinating the support packages necessary to meet unit and subordinate element operational requirements. As required, you will plan, develop, and deliver tailored operations-intelligence fusion training to supported intelligence consumers and partners. You will assist in continuously assessing the operational environment, current and emerging threats, and modernization efforts to develop innovations and processes that enhance situational understanding, readiness, and operations, enabling NSIN to provide tailored technology and integrated services to its mission partners for the purpose of countering and deterring current and emerging global threats.

More About the Role

As a CACI-Wexford Operations Integrator, you will embed with NSIN and its mission partners and tenant organizations, sometimes potentially in hostile, austere locations, providing expert advice and operational knowledge and technical expertise that enables the effective integration of operations, intelligence, and innovative technology into seamless solutions that help shape both current and future DoD mission requirements.

You will collaborate across the DoD, commercial industry, and academic space to identify and develop technology and capability enhancements that are informed by close collaboration and coordination with the labs, universities, agencies, and industry partners who are on the cutting edge of research and Development.

You will embed with and support units and organizations at all echelons both CONUS and OCONUS, and work with communities of interest as they deal directly with a wide variety of emerging threats and conduct operations to mitigate those threats. You will coordinate with component commands and mission partners, providing operations advice to commanders and staff on all activities regarding planning and synchronization of efforts satisfy operational objectives. You will remain relevant and valuable to the supported command through coordination of requests for support with other assets and enabling elements. You will directly support embedded teammates; manage requests for support from other units; and work closely with a wide variety of units, institutions, and partners to ensure they are ready to deploy and succeed. You will conduct gap analyses and assessments, track changes in the operational environment, identify threats/risks to the core missions, and identify potential mitigations & capabilities. You will support planning and assist in comprehensive, and continuous analyses/assessments of plans to build capabilities, respond to crisis, and train and field a combat-ready force. You will focus on critical missions, infrastructure, logistic challenges, and threats to force protection. You will participate in and support assessments, planning, and development of courses of action to identify and counter emerging threats; strengthen partner nation capability; and facilitate crisis response and contingency operations. You will work to promote collaboration and integration across the enterprise and with all strategic, operational and tactical partners to drive efficiencies and ensure NSIN achieves its priorities and objectives.

You will collaborate and coordinate on threat identification, and threat characterization, providing highly specialized functional and mission expertise to DoD, NSIN and its mission partners to identify capabilities designed to mitigate those threats while maintaining situational awareness of strategy, plans, operations, units, and friendly and adversary capabilities.

You will assist in the coordination and delivery of technology and capability integration that is informed by a deep understanding of currently deployed capabilities, emerging threats, and the dangers those threats pose to U.S. national interests, based on a detailed understanding of the process required to move technology from research through operational capability delivery.

You will integrate your mission expertise and innovative technologies and capabilities providing services, support and training that drives process improvements and efficiencies which ultimately enhances operational effectiveness focused on eliminating or neutralizing threats and the networks that employ those threats, ultimately reducing threat levels for the DoD, NSIN and its mission partners.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.

  • Bachelor’s degree and more than three years of experience, or associates degree and seven years of experience, or ten years of relevant work experience.

  • More than three years of experience working with the military planning cycle and tactical ground operations.

  • More than one year of deployed experience in support of operations

  • You must possess the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.

  • You will be able to provide daily feedback to the team lead on product development.

  • Be deployable to the required theater of operations, usually conducting periodic travel within CONUS and extended deployments to OCONUS locations.

  • Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience, or associates degree and seven years of experience, or nine years of relevant work experience.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • More than five years of experience at tactical formations, battalion level or equivalent and higher.

  • More than three years of experience leveraging military planning principles in support of battalion level or equivalent and higher staff.

  • More than 10 years of military, academic or defense industry functional experience.

  • Recent deployment experience supporting Attack the Network, CT, or C-IED operations.

  • Experience and in-depth knowledge of the DOD technology maturation model, Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs), and Defense Acquisition processes.

  • Experience and capability to perform tasks with Microsoft productivity software and applications.

  • Practical understanding of Microsoft SharePoint, Google Earth spatial analysis software, as well as web-based intelligence tools and databases available through SIPR and JWICS.
