Job Description
What You’ll Get to Do:
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Analyst with relevant experience in procurement, contracting, and acquisitions to provide onsite support for all customer requests and issues related to Federal Acquisitions. The duties of the analyst will include: investigating and resolving contracting and acquisitions-related client issues. The analyst may also participate in developing user training materials, updating the users’ desk reference guides, and other business operations activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support for Federal Acquisitions.
Support includes:
Review acquisition policy documents
Responding to acquisition policy questions via email/phone
Review of small business procurement strategies/market research
Collaboratively working with contracting staff on resolution of issues
Developing communications,
Tracking recurring projects and activities,
Develop and Deploy Training
Monitor the Environment for new developments (in policies, programs, directives, FAR changes, laws, operational changes, etc.) for DEA and Acquisition impacts. Assess impact, develop optional ways to address for management consideration and implementation.
Work closely and coordinate with Acquisition Operations and Policy on day-to-day operational assessments and process improvement enhancements.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree or, a minimum of 24 semester hours in business or equivalent training and work experience as GS-1102 Contract Specialist. FAC-C/DAWIA Level II preferred
3 to 5 years of professional experience in supporting Federal Contracting
Ability to develop user guides, training content, and communications
Ability to present training and answer participant questions on Acquisition Program Topics
Ability to analyze incoming issues and propose solutions
Strong analytical and writing skills
Ability to plan and execute work independently
Exceptional client interaction skills
Experience with Microsoft Office
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to resolve issues and developing resolution recommendations
