CACI is looking for an experienced Agile Scrum Master with a Business Systems Analyst experience and strong Agile Scrum delivery skills and project facilitation experience to support a key program based in Northern VA. You will interface with directly with client stakeholders including Product Owners, applying both oral and written communications skills to forge strong working relationships. This position is responsible for ensuring that all assigned work activities are performed in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining the highest quality of performance. You will also be able to apply your business analyst skills to decompose high-level business needs into user stories (functional requirements) to facilitate the delivery of deployable software in short Sprints.
Serves as the authorized project interface with project stakeholders including government personnel. You will have responsibility for facilitating delivery of customer-defined software development projects; basic responsibilities include:
As Scrum Master, focus on guiding the teams toward improving the way they work, facilitating sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
Assisting the product owner with managing the product backlog.
Serve as the focal point for the capture, analysis, and management of functional and non-functional systems requirements, and user stories.
Meet with stakeholders to identify business needs.
Clearly communicate those business needs to a development team through user stories and acceptance criteria.
Removing all obstacles to project team efficiency and effectiveness; reaching out to the larger organizational network for impediment removal; ensuring cross-team coordination.
Maintaining relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing.
Liaising between developers and project stakeholders; fostering quality communication between engineering disciplines.
Manage product releases and dependencies between teams and third parties or between assigned teams and other Scrum teams.
Supporting development of product roadmaps.
Strengthening the presence of the team as an Agile center of excellence. Actively contributing to the organization Agile Community.
Ensuring appropriate staffing for assigned projects or tasks.
Providing appropriate oversight to engineers, analysts, and support personnel.
Scheduling and allocating work and resolving problems to meet technical performance.
Review and evaluate work done by development team to ensure proper scope has been met.
Ensuring product quality and timeliness of efforts.
College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Must be a U.S. Citizen, with an active secret DoD security clearance.
Certified Scrum Master/Scrum Practitioner with experience leading scrum teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Agility’s VersionOne, Jira or other comparable tools.
Strong skills with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) and SharePoint.
Strong software development background, with a minimum of six (6) solid years’ experience facilitating incremental software development projects using an Agile Scrum approach.
Understanding of all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management.
Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starter.
Certified Business Analysis Professional and/or Certified Product Owner
Prior experience with continuous deployment models
Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas
Experience working on unusually complicated problems and providing solutions that are highly creative and ingenious, exhibiting ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
