What You’ll Get to Do:
As a Secure Mobility Implementation Team (SMIT) Tech on the Secure Mobile Team you will be responsible for ensuring the MS Access database for tracking devices is maintained daily for accurate reporting, submit orders in Storefront for DMCC/Windar-S devices, update and work Remedy tickets, pickup/deliver devices between Crystal Gateway 1 (CG1) & Pentagon using the DOD shuttle, assist with deploying provisioned devices to users along with explaining basic usage and known fix actions. The SMIT tech will report to the Secure Mobile Team Lead. The ideal candidate must have MS Excel experience, rotate between GC1 and the Pentagon as scheduled, and able to work efficiently in steady paced environment.
More About the Role:
Complete assigned tasks and established priorities set by SMIT Lead
Update the MS Access tracking database daily to reflect deactivated/obsolete devices
Order new devices and document all turn in and break fix devices
Submit Storefront orders and update data via applicable DISA websites
Update/create MS Excel spreadsheets and produce reports via MS Access database as directed
Interface with the DISA HQ and the edge site
Assist customers with device configuration in reference to initial passwords, pass-codes, and pins receipt during deployment and basic usage
Notify SMIT Lead of any team Work Instructions and SOPs to be created or updated
Attend meetings as directed by the Secure Mobile Managers/Leads, FS Managers, Contract PMs and Government Team
Assist with preparing team data for the weekly IPR with Government Leadership in the absence of the SMIT Lead
Complete training and utilize required tools to accomplish job functions
Utilize ITIL best practices to enhance and optimize the services provided to end users .

Qualifications and Experience :
Ability to generate or develop reports in various formats (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strong customer service orientation
Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
Keen attention to detail and well organized
Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment
Requirements:
Active Secret security clearance
Bachelor's with 1 or more years of experience, or a Master's with 0-2 years of experience
Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification: CCNA Security, CySA+, Security+ CE, etc.
Preferred Education and Experience:
ITIL v3 Foundations AND HDI Desktop Support Technician or A+ related certifications relevant to service desk support
Hands-on experience working with BMC Remedy ticket systems
Prior work experience in a fast-paced DoD environment
