Job Description

CACI is a prime contractor for a project called ISDPMS . The project focuses on the software development and integration for the Department of State to provide business solutions to a worldwide workforce. We develop and maintain a cadre of systems and applications using SaaS and PaaS solution that helps protect lives of US citizens and non-citizens in Embassies, Consulates, and Posts around the world.

More About the Role:

The Software Development Manager will have several responsibilities such as:

  • Serve in leadership and managerial capacity, guiding the development services team in setting and applying software standards.

  • Oversee enterprise level activities including DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Assist with management of the Agile methodology process as it relates to capability/application development and releases into the production environment.

  • Assist with management of the Agile methodology process as it relates to capability/application development and releases into the production environment.

  • Assist with the production of reports and Agile artifacts in support of the Agile Program Management Office (APMO).

  • Work and manage simultaneous projects and initiatives for complex IT software development programs in a variety of environments, including on-premise, cloud, hybrid, production, and test.

  • Manage, organize, coordinate, and facilitate product release across development teams.

  • Lead the ASF processes at the portfolio level for a given Release, where a Release is defined by the following activities: Release Planning, Construction, Deployment.

  • Act as primary interface with our ESS and ESS/DSS teams ensuring those Definition of Done requirements for the teams are met.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; an advanced degree is preferred;

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in managing complex IT software development programs;

  • PMI Agile Practitioner or equivalent;

  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience managing concurrent Agile software development initiatives;

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience implementing DevSecOps concepts and principles at an enterprise level;

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience implementing an automated Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)pipeline;

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience integrating automated testing into a CI/CD pipeline; and

  • A minimum of five (5) years of hands-on development experience.
