Job Description

CACI is a prime contractor for a new project called ISDPMS . The project focuses on the software development and integration for the Department of State to provide business solutions to a worldwide workforce. We develop and maintain a cadre of systems and applications using SaaS and PaaS solution that helps protect lives of US citizens and non-citizens in Embassies, Consulates, and Posts around the world.

All positions will require a Secret Clearance to start with a possible upgrade for a Top Secret.

More About the Role:

As a System Engineer Lead you will have various responsibilities such as:

  • Responsible for the set-up, maintenance, and ongoing development of continuous build/integration infrastructure.

  • Creating and maintaining fully automated CI build processes for multiple platform environments.

  • Writing build and deployment scripts. Support CI/CD tools integration, operations, change management, and maintenance.

  • Supporting full automation of CI/Testing. Develop policies, standards, guidelines, governance, and related guidance for both CI/CD operations and for work of developers.

  • Onboard/train and support developers from source control, through build automation, merge resolution, CI, test automation, deployment based on tools usage, and policies and standards.

  • Enable DevSecOps by moving code from Dev/Test to Staging and Production. Troubleshoot issues along the CI/CD pipeline.

  • Apply the following principles: build-time dependency management, unit testing and code-coverage tools, good understanding of Quality Control and Test Automation in Agile-based Continuous Integration environments

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • BA/BS + 7YRS

  • DoD Secret Clearance

  • At least 4 years of experience supervising and/or performing additions and changes to network hardware and operating systems, and attached devices, including investigation, analysis, recommendation, configuration, installation, and testing of new network hardware and software.

  • At least 5 years of experience with Agile software development and management methods and ability to excel within an Agile environment (i.e., user stories, iterative development, continuous integration, continuous delivery, shared ownership, test-driven development, etc.)

  • 5 years of experience with build automation tools —TFS preferred and Jenkins.

  • Experience in supporting CI/CD tools integration, operations, change management, and maintenance.

  • Provide direct support in the day-to-day operations on network hardware and operating systems including the evaluation of system utilization, monitoring response time and primary support for detection and correction of operational problems.

  • Troubleshoot at the physical level of the network, working with network measurement hardware and software, as well as physical checking and testing of hardware devices at the logical level working with communication protocols.

  • 5-7 years of experience in planning ,designing, technical review and implementation for new network infrastructure hardware and network operating systems for voice and data communication networks.

  • Maintain network infrastructure standards including network communication protocols such as TCP/IP.

  • Experience providing technical consultation, training and support to IT staff as designated by the government.
