CACI International Web Design Project Manager in Arlington, Virginia
What You’ll Get to Do:
As the Web Design Project Manager, you will be responsible for the re-design and delivery of exceptional web products for DHS external facing websites. In this role you will serve as the project manager for the consolidation of two (2) DHS websites into a single website, overseeing a team of Drupal developers, graphics designers, content strategists and business analysts, driving the re-design and launch of the 2.0 web site. This candidate will foster an agile, collaborative team culture with both CACI staff and customer External Affairs team to drive out of the box thinking and cross-functional team communications ensuring product delivery schedules are met and project risks identified and mitigated.
More About the Role:
Provide end-to-end project lifecycle management of web design efforts ensuring website development tasks and projects stay on schedule and meet all defined requirements
Ensure customer requirements are documented and capturing, establishing functional and non-functional requirements according to stakeholder needs, identifying a path forward for each, prioritizing requests identified as being a priority by the customer
Implement agile team approach, capturing and tracking work via stories, developing sprint backlogs and tracking team velocity and resourcing
Ensure leadership has visibility on challenges, solutions, potential roadblocks, O&M priorities, and time required, and overall status of the project
Manage project schedules, developing WBS and project milestones
Ensure projects are adequately staffed with the necessary personnel based on skill sets and priorities.
Bring a collaborative, team-centric attitude and enthusiasm that encourages outreach and partnership
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD).
14 Years Applicable Experience or Equivalency (equivalency includes MA + 5 years applicable experience, BA + 8 years applicable experience or AA + 10 years applicable experience)
A minimum of 5 years’ experience with web-site design and delivery experience
A minimum of 3 years’ experience managing a team
Experience with 508 accessibility testing
Experience with agile and agile management concepts
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Strong initiative to proactively establishing relationships, setting up workshops, finding opportunities to innovate and improve value, as well as providing new ideas for improvement.
Able to understand the day-to-day operational needs of customers and identify areas for improvement in business processes and propose solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
