CACI International ISSO in Ashburn, Virginia
Under general supervision, maintains information assurance and security documentation and control procedures for FMS Systems. Maintains personnel training, access to network resources, and documentation related to networks, workstations, peripherals, GFE, tokens, and CACs for NIPR and SIPR environments. US Citizen and Secret clearance is required to start.
Serves as an Information System Security Officer responsible for security operations – enforcing security policies, procedures and safeguards., implementing and supporting all phases of RMF, and software accreditation - for FMS Applications. Responsibilities include:
Work with Government ISSM interpreting and presenting relevant artifacts
Deliver application Certification and Accreditation (C&A)
Manage system POA&Ms through mitigation
Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of system security plans (SSPs), policies, procedures, and best practices
Evaluate need, and schedule and coordinate local security training and awareness programs for system administrators, developers, or other team members
Coordinate SAARs, VARs, and other relevant DoD forms for employee on-boarding, and access to .mil networks in NIPR and SIPR with Government ISSM and CACI FSO.
Provide routine system-level monitoring, audit reviews, and compliance reporting
Apply response actions in reaction to any security incidents in accordance with established policies, plans, and procedures to include appropriate incident characterization and categorization.
Prior DoD ISSO experience.
Understanding of all phases of RMF implementation
Familiarity with DOD Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) process, STIGs, STIG Viewer, Manual Checklist reviews, and Security Readiness Review (SRR) Evaluation scripts
CompTia Security+, and/or Network+ certification.
Knowledge of NIST and DoD documentation on RMF and Information Assurance.
Good knowledge of Windows Server 2012, and/or Linux 7.
University degree (BS/BA)
Professional Experience: 5 to 7 years related technical experience
Excellent communication skills.
- CISSP preferred but not required.
