CACI International SAP Technical Architect Lead in Ashburn, Virginia
CACI is currently looking for candidates to join our Technical Architecture team to play a key role in planning and designing SAP based system for the United States Department of Agriculture. We are looking for at least 10+ years of experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent to apply your expertise in SAP Architecture, SAP Basis, SAP ABAP Development, SAP Infrastructure, Cloud Migration and SAP system maintenance. The candidate will lead a team of architects who provide technical inputs to project development, planning and design and balance the needs with implementation techniques. The candidate must be able to present technical details at both a high and low level of detail. The lead technical architect will need to facilitate working sessions with technical SMEs to develop system designs.
The candidate will apply their experience and of knowledge of best practices supporting U.S. Government Civil Agencies. Expected duties include but are not limited to:
Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to work independently with limited supervision and develop project planning and design materials including: Detailed Design Documentation, System Landscape Diagrams, PowerPoint presentations, project charters, implementation plans and relevant white papers.
Ability to manage projects and processes, develop solutions and perform the design, implementation or delivery of products, services, systems and solutions using specialized knowledge and skills (technical principles, theories and concepts) normally acquired through specialized training and/or advanced education
Ability to work with cross functional team members to design, develop, implement and document technical solutions to meet business requirements.
Provides support for facilitating and helping identify technical requirements to support projects.
Documents technical solutions and contributes to the risk analysis and project support in the technical area of the project.
Applies principles, theories, and concepts to the development implementation plans for new technology or updates to existing technology.
Monitors trends in information technology and security that could have an impact on the supportability or viability of the organization’s products, processes, infrastructure, or customers.
Experience in SAP Technical areas
Experience in Cloud Migration
Experience with SAP Application and platform updates
Experience in project leadership in planning, designing and implementing projects through completion
Experience using Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work individually (self-motivated) and within a team environment
Ability to communicate effectively with:
Management – providing status information, suggesting corrective actions, and taking direction when decisions are made
Diverse customer organizations – accepting guidance and feedback on requirements and deliverables
Effective interpersonal skills
Minimum 10 years of SAP Technical relevant experience
