CACI is currently looking for a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Deployment Project Manager with Agile methodology experience to join our Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Land Border Integration (LBI) Integrated Traveler Initiative II (ITI2) team in Northern Virginia! Join this passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting the best practices in Agile Software Development and hardware integration for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
As a member of the ITI2 Team, you will support the men and women charged with safeguarding the American people and enhancing the Nation’s safety, security, and prosperity. CBP Officers and Border Patrol agents are on the front lines, every day, protecting our national security by combining customs, immigration, border security, and agricultural protection into one coordinated and supportive activity.

The Senior Deployment Project Manager supports the ITI2 Contract by possessing and maintaining a thorough awareness of technical equipment; assisting project-based development, deployment and installation efforts; and providing build, test, analysis deployment, and troubleshooting support throughout the System Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) for innovative hardware/software/network/Internet of Things (IoT) systems and applications. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis of contract requirements; track progress of installations and upgrades and work closely with ITI2 internal and external stakeholders to provide visibility into special projects.

Understanding technology, infrastructure, and construction requirementsrelated tovehicle lane and license plate reading technologies, vehicle, cargo, and pedestrian RFID technologies, Pedestrian and vehicle Inbound Signage, Kiosks, and a multitude of biometric and camera technologies
Work withtheDeployment Manager andassist in the scheduling of Regional Deployment Managers while they directly work closely and manage electrical and equipment installations, subcontractors, and properly execute designs and insure proper operations
Manages the relationship and is responsible for the communication between one or multiple subcontracting vendors that are utilized during the design and deployment of solutions
Managing new solution development as it moves from engineering into a deployable solution
Liaising with the customer to drive project and scope requirements at specific locations for identified solutions
Maintaining communication with all stakeholders to keep them informed and tracking on the progress
Coordination between subcontractors and the customer to ensure projects have all components at the project site with ample resources for successful solution deployment
Managing risk during the project cycle through continuous risk mitigation strategies
Overseeing budget and time constraints to assure customer satisfaction of the deployed solution
You'll Bring These Qualifications :
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteriaincludes, but not limited to:
3-year check for felony convictions
1-year check for illegal drug use
1-year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in arelated fieldand 10years of experience.
You are good at:
Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt in an Agile Environment.
Experience staffing for large technical programs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Problem-solving and analytics skills
Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication and time management skills and work ethic; self-starter
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with communicating with multiple types of trades and construction vendors, and ability to communicate desired requirements effectively
Experience with biometric technologies and programs is a plus.
Knowledge of license plate and RFID platforms is a plus
Strong proven leadership experience
