CACI is currently looking for a Senior Solutions Architect/Project Lead. As a solutions architect, the individual will help design and deliver solutions after analyzing alternatives and recommending strategies. The individual will also lead and manage the daily activities for a small team, working closely with the Delivery Manager for a large Salesforce implementation.
The ideal candidate should have a technical understanding of Agile software development practices and experience delivering releasable software. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop architectural products and deliverables. You will also advise on the feasibility of potential future projects to stakeholders for all phases of initiatives from inception to completion.

What you’ll get to do:
You’ll be leading a small team on a Salesforce implementation while working with other architects to lead the strategic development and implementation of the Salesforce software for the customer as part of a large program. You’ll meet with key stakeholders, and you’ll need to understand the challenges they’re facing and look at how the team can provide solutions. You will also have responsibility for leading a team of Salesforce developers to add new capabilities and Salesforce solutions.
Specific responsibilities include:
Applies management, domain expertise, and leadership to oversee a Salesforce implementation effort leveraging supporting teams to meet the customer’s mission.
Responsible for owning and delivering complex cloud-based solutions using Salesforce technologies. The candidate will be responsible for the architecture and design of complex solution components (e.g., integration, security, custom development).
Able to confirm and report technical design risks to the customer, and oversee risk mitigation approaches.
Establishes and continuously refines the vision in alignment with effort’s overall goals.
Oversee development team to assure on-time delivery of assigned development tasks with minimal defects.
Supports the overall management of the effort by working with the PMO and task order program manager.
Serves as a counterpart to the client program office team.
Maintain a strong client relationship and keep the client and stakeholders engaged in the implementation activities.
Contribute to a continuous improvement and learning environment.
Strong interpersonal communication, written communication skill and customer service skills
Provide weekly status to the Delivery Manager.
College degree (B.S., M.S.) in Information Assurance, Computer Science, Information Management Systems or a related discipline
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
Must be a U.S. Citizen with at least an interim DOD Secret Clearance
Professional Experience: 16+ years related technical experience
8+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development and implementations plus 3+ years leading efforts using Agile Delivery (Scrum and/or Kanban)
Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications via real-time, batch, sync/async
Experience leading with cross functional teams to quickly deliver incremental functionalities with security included at each phase of development
Ability to identify and manage risks
Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong work ethic and self-starter
Ability to organize and lead professional teams
You are good at:
Knowledge of COTS based products leveraged by DoD and U.S. Army.
Developing customer-facing user interfaces
Providing executive-level briefings.
Acting independently to expose and resolve problems.
Experience working on unusually complicated problems and providing solutions that are highly creative and ingenious, exhibiting ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness.
Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative IA principles and ideas.
Proficient with MS Project and Office Suite applications.
Bonus would be having:
Scrum Master Certification or equivalent
Experience using JIRA, Agility, or other backlog tracking tools
Prior DoD experience
