Job Description

Responsible for designing, developing, operating and maintaining software, firmware components, or computing systems software to be applied to and integrated with solutions or products that also encompass non-information technology related engineering or scientific disciplines. These solutions or products may require hardware, aerospace, communications, cyber, electrical, manufacturing, mechanical, or other specialized engineering domain knowledge in order to design, develop, and support software components embedded within them. Applies the appropriate software standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the system life cycle to support the generation of multi-disciplinary solutions and products such as simulations of engineering and scientific problems, avionics, command and control, tactical displays, medical devices, sensors, and electro-mechanical systems. Interfaces with customers, suppliers, application users and other technical and support personnel.

What You Will Be doing:

In this role you will be researching new technologies and developing portal modules in support of program management, workflow, collaboration, and data visualization capabilities required to support program execution. These modules will leverage Microsoft’s 365 Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint Online, and Teams. You will collaborate with CACI project leadership and the BITS Portal Lead to understand the customer’s needs and requirements, and then you will work independently to develop new functionality for inclusion within the baseline repository of modules available for deployment to program sites,

More About This Role: Provides SharePoint/PowerApps Development and Site Collection and Site Administration support to the CACI BITS organization. Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to responding to queries, running diagnostics, isolates problem, and determines and recommends solutions to the SharePoint Developers. With oversight from senior developers, develop change requests that incorporate content, style, form, list, library, and workflow updates to new and existing applications. Apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues. Provides updates at recurring meetings both verbally and in written reports. Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service. Provides thorough documentation and guide customers through the web requirements phase. Track record of providing a high level of customer service to internal customers. Competency in content, database, and project management preferred. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential in this collaborative work environment. Document incidents and troubleshooting steps for escalation. Gathering vital meeting information and generating reports for stakeholders.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Must have prior experience of SharePoint administration and management

  • Must have experience and familiarity in SharePoint design, functions, and applications

  • Familiarity of permission hierarchies and ability to make changes ‘on the fly’

  • Ability to manipulate out of the box SharePoint Online functions to create user friendly sites and applications.

  • Knowledge of Web Application development and User Experience principals

  • Knowledge of the Software Design Lifecycle

  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize new web applications

  • Ability to multi-task and organize work and schedules

  • Ability to communicate thoroughly and regularly with customers, supervisors, and peers.

    These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years of related work.

  • Power Platform experience to include knowledge of PowerApps, PowerBI, and Power Automate.

  • 1-2 years of PowerApps hands-on development experience developing forms based and Canvas Applications leveraging the Power Platform.

  • Knowledge of PowerBI and Power Automate

  • Experience in SharePoint migrations

  • Experience in cloud migrations

  • Experience maximizing SharePoint APIs

  • Ability to Obtain a Minimum Secret Security Clearance
