CACI is currently looking for a talented Automation Test Engineer with agile methodology and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) experience. As the Automation Test Engineer, you will join our BEAGLE (Border Enforcement Applications for Government Leading-Edge Information Technology) Agile Solution Factory (ASF) Team supporting the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) client located in Northern Virginia! Join this passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting the best practices in Agile Software Development for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

You must have a strong background and experience in developing tests for a web application and making use of RPA tools and technologies, such as UI automation, to setup and analyze automated testing processes.
More About the Role:
Develop and maintain robotic process automation (RPA) software solutions that automate time-consuming application testing.
Develop, maintain, and perform smoke, regression, and sprint-level manual/automated testing activities (e.g., define scenarios, develop detailed scripts/procedures, write acceptance criteria using Cucumber, and map user story acceptance criteria to script verification points) using Jira and RPA UiPath.
Work closely with developers to define the automated testing components that will be used to validate requirements against developed software.
Provide RPA Automation development and implementation in UiPath.
Develop and maintain automated scripts that are exercised during CI/CD builds and nightly regression test suite execution.
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of testing automations and troubleshoot, as needed.
Participate in Agile Scrum development methodology ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, scrum, backlog refinement, defining tasks/tests, estimating LOE, testing, tracking work done, retrospective, demonstration, etc.)
Utilize a GitLab repository to maintain source code files for automated tests.
In collaboration with the Business Analyst, access impacts of candidate changes to the automated smoke and/or regression test suite(s) and plan accordingly.
Perform script and/or code peer reviews to ensure compliance with project-level manual/automated testing standards, guidelines, and processes.
Document and track testing activity progress during a sprint. This includes capturing execution artifacts to support that all acceptance criteria have been successfully verified/validated.
Create and maintain technical documentation, providing technical support for the RPA tool, and determine the functions in the application that can be automated.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
College degree (B.S. or greater) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline. Will consider experience in lieu of degree.
Seven (7) or more years of Automated and Manual Testing experience which includes developing and executing automated test scripts.
1 or more years of development experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools deploying attended ‘bots’.
RPA UiPath tool developer experience (ex: Test Manager, Studio, Orchestrator, Test Robots, etc.).
Demonstrated experience with Smoke Testing, Functional Testing, Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing phases.
Experience testing solutions developed in Java, JavaScript, and Oracle operating in a Cloud environment.
Experience with Jira for tracking of user stories, bugs, tasks, etc.
Knowledgeable in the basics of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#, as they are commonly used in RPA development.
DBMS knowledge in Oracle RDS.
Experience creating SOPs and similar process guides to support testing activities.
Ability to follow design and coding standards and best practices.
Experience with GitLab version control system, including integration with IDEs, adding files, commits, branching, and merging.
Knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell and running Git commands.
Expertise troubleshooting GitLab and UiPath merge issues.
Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel for maintaining documentation and tracking test cases.
Understanding of Scrum team methods and agile best practices.
Knowledgeable about Jenkins for the build, test, and deploy of application software.
Skill to interact with the product Owner, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, and provide guidance on automation tools and testing methods to meet project specific needs.
Apply the Agile development approach to incremental software development projects

Pass CBP background investigation (U.S. Citizenship required).
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Familiarity with any of the following: HTML, XML, SQL, PL/SQL, ODBC, and Web Services.
UiPath Certified Professional Associate RPA Developer (UiRPA) Certification.
Ability to manage test data in automation. Create, store, access, and update test data for the automated software tests.
Knowledge of attended and unattended robots to execute tests on-demand, continuously, and at scale.
Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python, Pearl).
Programming skills in Java and JavaScript.
Knowledge of the XRay Test Management tool for Jira.
Ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to identify processes that are ideal for automation and creative problem-solving ability.
Willingness to learn new programs and skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent customer relationship management skills.
Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starter.

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $82,100-$172,400. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
