What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI has an immediate need for a Public Health Analyst / User Support Specialist I to support our client in Atlanta, GA. The Public Health Analyst / User Support Specialist I will provide assistance to system users by addressing questions and resolving issues related to participation in the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion (DHQP CDC).

The mission of the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion (DHQP) is to protect patients; protect healthcare personnel; and promote safety, quality, and value in both national and international healthcare delivery systems.

*This is a Part-Time On Call (PTOC), hourly position. One can expect 40 hour work weeks.

**During COVID this position will remain remote, however candidates are expected to live close to a Duty Station (Cincinnati, Ohio, Atlanta, GA, NC, DC/VA/MD).

More About the Role:

  • Provide user support to DHQP and its constituents by performing a variety of clearinghouse functions and activities.

  • Serve as subject matter expert for the operations (enrollment and participation) of the DHQP Help Desk.

  • Serve as the initial DHQP representative to inquiries (emails, letters) from the general public, state and local health departments, and hospitals regarding healthcare associated infections and/or the protection of healthcare workers.

  • Triage incoming specific inquiries (via email from state and local health departments, hospitals, and other government agencies) for interpretation of guidelines and recommendations, broadly related to infection control in health-care settings and the general public.

  • Responsible for the coordination and dissemination of information to a variety of audiences (physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and the general public), regarding the prevention of healthcare-associated infections, tailoring the message to specific audiences.

  • As subject matter expert of the DHQP Help Desk, recognizes patterns of inquiries (related to healthcare associated infections or healthcare worker protection) and makes planning recommendations for development of informational material to meet the needs of the general public, healthcare workers, etc.

  • Actively contributes to technical reports and documents representing summary of monthly inquiries.

  • Provides technical writing for program and operation documentation.

  • Provides documentation in presentation-ready quality output. In response to written inquiries, provides user support regarding procedures for correctly setting up facilities, applying definitions and criteria, and data entry.

  • Identifies user/system issues requiring system modifications and prioritizes, escalates and contributes to response.

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 1 year of related work experience.

  • Great attention to detail

  • Excellent communications skills

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $49,900-$99,800. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
