CACI is seeking a highly motivated public health analyst/epidemiologist to join our award-winning team to support a healthcare associated infection program.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Respond to written inquiries, provide surveillance system user support regarding procedures for correctly setting up facilities, applying CDC healthcare associated infection definitions and criteria, and data entry.

  • Identify user/system issues requiring system modifications and prioritizes, escalates and contributes to response.

  • Assist in the review of study data for data quality and validation

  • Leads/assists in data cleaning projects to improve the quality of data systems

  • Prepare and present educational trainings about NHSN to professional organizations and governmental bodies at national, state and local levels

  • Assist in the development of new surveillance system modules, providing subject matter expertise related to HAI surveillance and data validation.

  • Participate, as requested, in special studies or projects.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

Must be able to obtain a NACI clearance.

  • Requires a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience, of which approximately five (5) years must be specialized in the areas of public health promotion and prevention utilizing public and private partnerships.

  • Must have experience with SAS.

  • Excellent communications skills; great attention to details

  • General knowledge of public health data analysis needs and techniques

  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SAS, etc. – ability to write SAS code and use in a working context)

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $49,900-$99,800. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
