We are seeking experienced Software Engineers to join the GTOS development team. We develop and maintain an innovative grid-based signal processing architecture solving hard computational problems in near real time for the mission success of our customers. As a Software Engineer, you will be deeply involved providing configuration, control, status, processing, and analytic solutions for this critical operational system. In cooperation with system engineering, you will elicit use cases and requirements from our customers, as well as support training of fellow team members and government customers. You will join a dynamic team highly adept at solving complex problems with the application of leading-edge technology solutions, empowering decision-makers to make mission-critical decisions.

What You’ll Get to Do :

As a Software Engineer you will:

  • Be a key member of a dynamic small team where your work rapidly contributes to operational products and you will have a strong connection to the impact of your work

  • Participate in field testing and deployment of operational capabilities into 24/7 mission centers

  • Develop an understanding of our processing architecture, system control interfaces, and data products then use that knowledge to build robust solutions providing meaningful real-world results

Required Skills:

  • Ability to define, design, and implement robust Python and/or C++ applications

  • Extensive working knowledge of Python and C++ Experience with development and build tools such as Git, GitLab and Jira

  • Linux Proficiency

  • Good written and verbal skills

  • Strong troubleshooting skills supporting a mission critical operational environment

  • TS/SCI w/ poly clearance

  • Also, ability to be on-call to 24/7 Ops Center to support critical real-world missions. (On-call time averages 5 days primary and 5 days secondary every three months.)

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of BS in Computer Science or equivalent

  • Minimum of 5 years in Software Development

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have

  • Experience with software defined radio and/or X-Midas programming

  • Experience with web applications and User Interface design and development

  • Familiarity with signal processing data products and mission processing systems

  • Security +. If you are not currently Security + certified, you will be required to obtain this certification within 6 months

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $71,300-$146,200. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
