Work on development support applications, dev build systems, configuration management tools, and various pieces of infrastructure for our customers who provide applications and support for the war fighter. The right candidate will Develop and maintain user and administrative documentation to meet customer contract requirements and will have a strong understanding of software life-cycle management and tools
Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze results and develop solutions for maintaining security compliance for applications and operating systems
Work with customers to solve issues facing them in their development environment
Work on small teams in an agile software development life cycle to develop, maintain, and enhance a diverse software systems
Execute the research, engineering, and development of solutions to support development systems
Refine and enhance existing applications to best meet customer requirements and operational needs
Optimize legacy operational software as necessary to meet continuously evolving cyber security
Apply system level knowledge (OS and hardware) to be able to diagnose issues and provide solutions
You’ll Bring These Qualifications :
Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
Minimum 3-6 years of relevant work experience in software development
Advanced Linux administration
Advanced scripting experience in bash or python
Experience in use of Linux debugging and diagnostic tools
Understanding of software, automation, tools, and best practices
Understanding of distributed systems and networking
Understanding of Linux security methods
Understanding of maintainability, scalability, and auditing
Security+ or equivalent for DoD 8570 certification
Currently has TS/SCI security clearance
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Some knowledge of compiled languages
AWS or other experience with cloud environments
