CACI International Junior Business Intelligence Developer in Austin, Texas
What You’ll Get to Do:
Responsible for development of Business Intelligence reports, using Power BI and associated technologies. The Developer performs BI design and development tasks, working with business analysts, managers, and end user representatives to ensure data goals and objectives are met. Due to the contract, US citizenship is required.
More About the Role:
Perform design, development and delivery of business intelligence solutions using Power BI software, for a system based on the Momentum Financials COTS software.
Interprets requirements, performs analyses and develops technical solutions to obtain desired results using the Power BI suite of tools
Conducts Unit testing and resolves issues found in testing
Works with ETL developers to support implementation of ETL processes for BI solutions
Works with team leads to ensure adherence to data modeling and data management standards and best practices
Identifies opportunities for data alignment and re-use
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Applies knowledge of systems, data, and customer requirements to uncover problems and recommends solutions
Thorough understanding of data management principles
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and solution ownership
Must be able to initiate change and be able to communicate effectively
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Data Lakes preferred
At least 2 years of experience with Business Intelligence or Analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Cognos or any other data visualization/data analytics tools
At least 1 year of software development experience
Data management, analytics, or modeling experience
Oracle PL/SQL experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or other technically relevant degree and 2-3 years of relative experience
US Citizenship is required
