What You’ll Get to Do
Be part of a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team supporting rapid and innovative prototype development of warfighting capabilities that increase lethality, survivability, and warfighter effectiveness in support of the Air Force Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (AF TENCAP) mission to exploit national systems, educate warfighters, and influence development of future requirements. As a member of the team you will integrate with cross-functional teams to conduct research, design, development, prototyping, systems engineering, integration, testing and evaluation, transitioning, and training across multiple technology areas to include: Geolocation and Tagging, Tracking, Locating; Sensor, Data Fusion, and Dissemination; Unconventional / Asymmetric Warfare / Support to Special Operations; Situational Awareness; Cyberspace and Spectrum Warfare Operations; Air Superiority; Command, Control and Spectrum Utilization; Real-Time/Near Real Time Large Data Analytics and Virtualization. Projects in the portfolio will range in quantity, scope, duration, and complexity. Projects are designed to transition to warfighters and/or national intelligence agencies for operational use, sustainment and appropriate acquisition Programs of Record for further development.
More About the Role
Create, update, and continuously refine product backlog and roadmap
Clarifies and refines user goals and required outcomes
Ensures product team is conducting backlog refinement frequently enough such that there is a steady flow of well-defined work for each sprint
Determines product’s core regression test cases
Participates in all product and software lifecycles, particularly those dealing with Evolution Board, backlog refinement and road mapping, release planning, integrated release planning, sprint planning, and sprint review
Manages scope of application
Ensures efficient and on-time delivery of product tasks and milestones
Provides leadership to team members and peers
Articulates product roadmap and initiatives with senior management
Drives resolutions for any issues or impediments relating to application/product
Recommends changes to rules, processes, and policies
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
Top Secret Clearance
Bachelors or master’s degree and 3+ years of experience.
Possess both an understanding of real-world mission/business objectives and a working grasp of software development practices and technologies.
Research, analyze, and translate data so that it is quickly consumed and enables executive decision making.
Develop dynamic briefings and visualizations to communicate recommended solutions tailored to the intended audience.
Manage customer satisfaction to ensure that delivery meets or exceeds expectations based on scope.
Meet regularly with stakeholders and end users to identify business needs. Clearly communicate business needs to a development team through user stories and acceptance criteria.
Participate in Agile planning and scrum activities.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have
- Eligibility for TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph (U.S. Citizenship required for clearance)
