CACI seeks an experienced software engineer to join our Advanced Solutions Group, within the National Security and Innovative Solutions Sector. We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join a small team responsible for evolving a systems platform using innovative, technology-centric solutions that advance the intelligence community’s needs. What you’ll get to do:
Design and implement distributed server-based infrastructure as well as modern web-based applications.
Collaborate and coordinate with users, management and various stakeholders for requirements analysis, design, and development to ensure our customer’s mission is as efficient and effective as possible
Collaborate with hardware or software designers/engineers to develop, analyze, and evaluate hardware, software, and systems.
Evaluate emerging technologies to determine advantages and disadvantages of potential solutions in virtual, web-based, and desktop applications.
Apply agile tools and practices to implement new and existing national level technical systems processing capability within a DevSecOps infrastructure
Work with technical team to estimate work for defined system requirements
Collaborate with engineering teams building high quality components and systems for projects
Qualifications you’ll bring:
Active Secret security clearance or above
Bachelors or equivalent in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
5+ years of related experience, including Java development experience
Solid understanding of complex software design concepts, patterns, tools, and best practices
Experience with distributed/asynchronous mission management solutions
Proven delivery of production-grade applications including security, diagnostics, maintainability, scalability, auditing, and complex multi-layer troubleshooting
Successful track record in providing technical leadership in delivering architecture, engineering, and operation services.
Experience developing REST based services and interfacing those to browser-based UIs
Qualifications that are nice to have:
Active TS/SCI security clearance
Experience with AWS (including any AWS Certifications) and/or cloud native technologies
Experience with Kubernetes
Experience with DevSecOps pipeline tooling such as GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, Ansible and/or Foreman
Experience with Docker / Containerization and Container Orchestration
Experience with Web Technologies such as Angular, Javascript/React, HTML5, and CSS
Experience with database programming
Experience in service-based development and microservice architectures
Experience with scripting languages such as Python
Working knowledge of signal processing fundamentals
Willingness to learn and apply the best technology for a given application or service
