CACI is looking for an Industrial Security Officer to join our team of professionals in our Belgrade, MT office. You will be a key contributor to the security team and will administer security programs for a CACI company. You'll be well versed in administering routine aspects of the DOD and other industrial security programs to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment with a bias for action. You should be able to build high-trust partnerships with management, other security team members, and customers while being energetic, detail oriented, analytical, and self-starting.

More About the Role:

As the ISO, you will follow the NISPOM and other government regulations, to administer routine aspects of the DOD and other industrial security programs to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. Primary duties include reviewing and issuing DD-254s and sub-contracts, preparation of visit authorization letters (VALs), use of JPAS and DISS, and coordination with customer security representatives to process security clearance requirements. Protect classified government information, facilitate classified meetings, monitor security procedures, ensuring compliance with all aspects of the program including personnel, physical and administrative security systems and procedures. Make and program employee badges for site access. Conduct security briefings and conduct security education programs briefings. Investigate losses and security violations and recommend corrective actions. Maintain classified storage and audits of documents. Maintain security oversight for Closed areas. Maintain files for customers and audits. Conduct bi-annual self-inspections. Interface directly with program management to address security items specific to each program/contract. Provide support and assistance to other CACI and subcontractor personnel at multiple locations. Have the ability and flexibility to move from one task to another and to be available for a variety of tasks as the need arises.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Protect classified government information and monitor security procedures, ensuring compliance with all aspects of the program including personnel, physical and administrative security systems and procedures.

  • Maintain security clearance records and processes security clearance documents for personnel requiring access under multiple government contracts and subcontracts.

  • Conducts security briefings and develops and conducts security education programs for all cleared personnel.

  • Develops and implements security procedures and coordinates revisions and updates as necessary.

  • Successful candidate will manage the performance of the following independent duties and must have previous experience performing such duties:

  • Must have FSO Certificate for Possessing Facilities and previous industrial security experience and an in-depth knowledge of the NISPOM.

  • Processing incoming and outgoing classified documents and materials.

  • Process incoming and outgoing classified visits to include passing visits via JPAS or other customer specific procedures.

  • Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive actions.

  • Provide facility security support to include alarm checks, program access controls, alarm response and issuing badges.

  • Conduct annual security self-reviews and follow up on corrective actions.

  • Personnel Security processing to include pre-screening and tier one adjudications.

  • Prepare and submit Initial, Reinstatements, Crossovers, Nomination Letters, 4311s, and maintain CPRLs electronically and or manually.

  • Ensure all SF86s (word document or e-QIP) are reviewed for accuracy prior to submission.

  • Track community badge expiration dates and ensure all badge renewal submittals are submitted in a timely fashion.

  • Provide guidance to employees and subcontractors regarding matters of program security to include classification determination and marking guidance

  • Provide security indoctrinations, debriefings, and annual refresher trainings.

  • Process, update and maintain subcontract DD254's.

  • Provide onsite security support activities in the areas of Program, Personnel, Physical, COMSEC and Information Security • Manage COMSEC duties & responses.

  • Physical security management in the areas of access control, monitoring and response.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications :

  • A Secret clearance is the minimum requirement to begin employment with the ability to obtain up to a Top Secret clearance

  • High school diploma with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience

  • In-depth knowledge of and demonstrated experience with Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) (formerly Director of Central Intelligence Directives (DCIDs)), and National Industrial Security Program Operating Manuals (NISPOMs), and address security procedures pertaining to the following:

  • Personnel Security

  • Physical and Technical Security

  • Document Control

  • Material Control

  • Information Assurance

  • Information System Security

  • Security Incidents

  • Emergency Procedures

  • Security Awareness Training & Education (SATE)

  • Counterintelligence (CI) and Insider Threat Awareness

  • Communications Security (COMSEC)

  • Operations Security (OPSEC)

  • Visitor Control

  • Ability to work closely with government partners, security counterparts, program managers, and offices within the Intelligence Community and other defense industry partners to ensure successful execution of program activity.

  • Customer and team oriented and able to function with limited supervision. Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills.
