CACI is looking for a Data Scientist to support multiple fast-paced, agile development teams. As a Data Scientist, you will work with Government stakeholders at customer and contractor sites to develop robust error correction systems in support of the automation of an ETL process; the visualization of multiple data sources to gain insights and drive stakeholder decision making; enable entity extraction from multiple disparate data sources.
More About the Role
As a Data Scientist with CACI on this contract you will have three primary focuses supporting our sponsor’s programs.
Assist a development team with the creation of an automated ETL system with built in error identification and correction to facilitate the sponsor’s various data calls.
The error identification and correction system needs to be robust enough to support large scale batch processing while identifying at the cell level spreadsheets that have incorrect information or additional comments, rows or columns from the original data-call template.
Function as the data visualization SME across multiple development teams. Developing process flows/visualizations and technological developmental roadmaps and capturing them in the appropriate databases and data analysis tools.
Facilitate the government stakeholder’s decision-making process using the gathered data across multiple data-lakes.
- Work with the development teams to establish weighted biometric disambiguation/identification and provenance from multiple disparate data sources based on quantitative analysis assisting with the design of a cloud based RDS with a resilient enough structure to accommodate future sources and feeds without requiring a complete redesign.
BA/BS degree in a related scientific field (Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics. etc.)
7+ years of experience as a Data Scientist on DoD related programs and projects.
Active TS/SCI w/ Poly
Extensive experience supporting cloud-based environments at various classification levels
Experience with extract, transform, load (ETL) techniques
3+ years’ experience using VBA, PowerShell, and or .NET to automate the correction of spreadsheets as a component of an ETL system
Demonstrated experience with programming languages (such as Python, SQL, C/C++, JAVA, and Perl)
3+ years’ experience with data aggregation and visualization tools such as Tableau and or Power BI to facilitate stakeholder decision making and trend analysis
2+ years of experience with data science using statistical languages such as R to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
Knowledge of statistical techniques and concepts
Experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models
Experience with MS Office applications like Excel and Access Db.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
MA/MS degree in a related scientific field (Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics. etc.)
Experience with Data Operations pipeline
Experience working with and creating data architectures.
Experience working in Agile and DevOps environment
Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL and Neo4j
