CACI International Entry-Level Aerospace Engineer in Bethesda, Maryland
What You’ll Get to Do:CACI is looking for an entry-level engineer to work within a small team performing technical analyses, modeling, and simulation to support total system lifecycle and mission optimization studies of complex systems. You will get to work on a variety of aircraft platforms, solving developing problems in support of real world situations.More About the Role:
Self-motivated engineer who can both assist on analysis of others' projects, and also develop, test, and summarize results of own hypotheses for projects
Able to work flexibly across disciplines in a small, motivated, and growing team of engineers
Assists the Team Lead in prioritizing analysis and events to the engineering roadmap, achieving short- and long-term success
Interface to program management and customers as needed.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
BS or MS degree in Aerospace Engineering or related technical discipline (e.g. Mechanical Engineering)
High degree of computer literacy with ability to rapidly learn complex applications and tools
Competence/experience in at least Matlab or Python, some analysis will be done in proprietary language similar to these
Ability to speak confidently and clearly in order to participate in and brief at technical meetings
Capability to write clearly and articulately
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Secret Clearance (Must be able to obtain clearance for this position)
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience or interest in fixed wing aircraft
Experience or interest in Machine Learning/AI/Neural Networks
Technical writing experience
