CACI is hiring an Entry Level Engineer/Drone Technician to be based onsite in Bethesda, MD. Candidates with active/current Secret-level clearance encouraged to apply!
Hands On UAV/Drone Experience required!
What You’ll Get to Do:
Provide engineering and physical insight into mechanical and unmanned aerospace systems.
Assist in design, engineering, and testing of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles/Systems.
Develop hypothesis and goals for independent investigations.
Communicate results through reports and presentations to a non-technical audience.
More About the Role:
This role will work in a lab directly building, altering, and designing drones for multiple unmanned tests.
You will work with multiple prototyping tools including 3D Printers, CNC machines, foam cutters, etc.
As a requirement of continued employment, you will be required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering field or equivalent work experience.
Hands on experience with drones, quadcopters, fixed wing RC planes, etc.
Experience programming in MATLAB or Python, or related languages.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Currently hold an active Secret Security Clearance.
Master’s degree in mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering field.
