CACI seeks an experienced software systems technical expert to help create a data warehouse solution for volumes of submarine data collected over many years that stores and shares expected data from the field. Candidates should have software architecting experience with a flair for creative software design solutions and a desire to lead a small team to create and maintain a time-series data warehouse. This position has the potential to evolve into developing an enterprise-wide data warehouse for storing and analyzing time-series data for any type of vehicle and/or test platform. You will interact with the submarine data team stakeholders to evolve the design and help discover efficiencies and relations using AI/ML through the team’s experience with this data.
More About the Role:
Provide technical subject matter expertise to take over and lead the data warehousing project
Interface with data stakeholders to understand the data and its application in order to extract requirements
Manage the development efforts your team members while crafting and managing the creation of the elements within the data warehouse solution.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science or BS/BA and equivalent experience
Secret Cleared
Experience architecting Databases, Data Lakes, or Data Warehouses and knowledge of all of these concepts
1-3 years personnel management that includes technical roles, task management, and customer interfacing.
Experience managing projects, budgeting, and resource planning.
RHEL or other Linux Architectural experience
Python project experience
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
Master of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Official Scrum Certifications for Agilist and/or Scrum master
Ada Familiarity
Navy/Carderock experience
Matlab/Labview knowledge and experience
