What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI seeks a current or aspiring, motivated Naval Marine Engineering Manager to join our Navy support organization. Our organization manages a multi-disciplinary portfolio of projects from across the spectrum of Research and Development (R&D) fields and requires an enthusiastic and self-motivated manager with a desire to solve customer problems and grow the portfolio. You do not necessarily need to have management experience, but the desire and drive to push yourself into a new career stage by doing anything it takes is a must. This position puts you in the center of a leadership team and is a learning-on-the-job position that can one day lead to running your own program.

Possesses interpersonal skills necessary to initiate, build, and maintain customer relationships.
Possesses strong background in engineering, preferably naval engineering, with ability to quickly expand general engineering knowledge into more specific engineering disciplines.
Possesses an attention to detail in day-to-day tasking.
Highly responsive to communications and completion of resulting actions.
Extremely inquisitive nature with the ability to think critically.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of classical engineering experience.
Experience working directly with customers on technical projects.
Demonstrated technical writing skills
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Master of Science in Engineering or related field.
1-3 years personnel management that includes technical roles, task management, and customer interfacing.
Experience managing projects, budgeting, and resource planning.
Background providing engineering services to the marine industry.
Experience leading or writing proposal technical sections.
