CACI is looking for an organized and highly-motivated Navy Financial/Operations Analyst to support the US Navy’s Center for Innovation in Ship Design (CISD). CISD is the engineering group within Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Carderock, MD leading the Navy’s early stage ship design efforts, combining ideas from industry, government, and academia to meet future defense and Navy fleet needs.

More About the Role

  • Manage office’s multiple funding streams, budgets, expenditures, and contract vehicle funding.

  • Compile, track and analyze financial performance metrics.

  • Communicate and report on financial operations to clients.

  • Proactively recommend and follow-through on actions based on upcoming funding or expenditure timelines.

  • Track Purchasing Card (P-Card) buys and review/audit as required.

  • Assist in researching and preparing responses to financial drills for resource sponsors and stakeholders as required (eg. Office of Naval Research (ONR), OPNAV, Assistant Secretary of the Navy Research, Development and Acquisition (ASN(RDA))).

*This position is hybrid remote, with 2x/wk in office located at Carderock, MD (Montgomery County).

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of working experience in business operations

  • Familiarity with Navy financial processes

  • Experience working with Navy programs

  • Proficient in Excel (tracking, reporting, metrics)

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to balance priorities and manage expectations

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • Experience with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Auditing, or related field or equivalent combination of training, education and experience
