CACI International Oracle DBA (Security Clearance) in Bethesda, Maryland
CACI is looking for a Database Administrator with 4+ years of professional experience working with Oracle relationship-oriented databases. The candidate must have at least a Secret level security clearance to support the aircraft flight data analysis group at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division. This group supports the Navy by analyzing flight data using advanced algorithms in order to identify and interpret results. The team is a small, high-end R&D engineering group that encourages candidates to explore unique problems and develop forward looking solutions.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Responsible for maintaining, updating, and evolving the existing production and test databases as well as contributing to the overall development team’s success
Candidates will be given the unique opportunity to build out customized database infrastructures while assisting and developing database schemas, ETL layers and optimized queries
Participate in the full software development lifecycle for these products and will be expected to actively participate in identifying client needs and generating ideas for new features
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Extensive experience working with the latest version of Oracle
Windows OS and RHEL experience
Comfortable writing and creating stored procedures
Comfortable working with SQL Plus
BS in Computer Science or Programming related degree
Experience interfacing with relational databases
Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Has Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) and or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
Has Security+ and understanding of security protocols for vulnerability management
Capable of integrating into, and working with, small teams
Capable of working on multiple existing projects simultaneously
Experienced in scripting
Experience with the .NET framework (C# preferred)
Ability to learn and work in existing code bases
