CACI seeks a passionate hybrid DevOps Engineer to join our established agile team based in Charlottesville, VA. You'll play a key role in implementing a new software system using an open architecture, leveraging automation to streamline deployments and ensure consistent infrastructure and software delivery across various environments.
Own Your Automation Strategy:
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and best practices, optimizing the development lifecycle.
Utilize Ansible and Terraform to automate infrastructure and environment deployments across complex environments, including virtual machines, container technology, and cloud platforms (AWS EC2, S3, RDS).
Maintain and enhance CI infrastructure, ensuring smooth software delivery.
Craft efficient Bash scripts for installer management, automating repetitive tasks.
Embrace Collaboration and Innovation:
Work alongside developers, operations, and security teams to tackle technical challenges, providing and receiving valuable mentorship.
Champion DevSecOps principles, integrating security practices into the CI/CD pipeline.
Technical Expertise is Key:
Solid Ansible & Bash Scripting: Automate deployments, manage installers, and configure infrastructure with confidence.
CI/CD Pipeline Guru: Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI for seamless software delivery.
Cloud & Infrastructure Master: Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, etc) using Terraform.
Containerization Champion: Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and Docker containers is a plus.
Linux & DevOps Power User: Proficiency in Linux and DevOps tools like GitLab CI, Artifactory, and SonarQube is essential.
Go the Extra Mile (and Get Rewarded):
Current Secret clearance is required (TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph desired)
AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, or SysOps Administrator) will make you a standout candidate.
Experience managing Elasticsearch or OpenSearch clusters in a production environment is a plus.
Proficiency in security scanning with Prisma, JFrog Xray, or Nessus demonstrates your commitment to secure development.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$89,500-$188,000
