What You’ll Get to Do:
Assists in preparing draft legal documents, reviewing documents for relevance and privilege, and assisting attorneys with all phases of litigation.
More About the Role:
Perform substantive document review and analysis of financial data using Relativity and Palantir.
Review and analyze complex financial spreadsheets and writing summary reports of findings.
Conduct factual research to support attorney theories of the case.
Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other tools.
Assist with depositions, witness interviews, and sworn testimony, including drafting outlines and identifying documents to be used.
Create chronologies and timelines.
Assist the attorneys in crafting subpoena requests.
Use of computer technology in support of investigations.
Create, organize, and maintain various files (electronic and hard copy).
Conduct factual and legal research.
Develop, organize, and maintain Relativity, Palantir, and CaseMap e-discovery databases for UBS litigation.
Track and QC productions.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Requires sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and legal research resources.
Requires excellent written and oral communication skills and thorough knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw.
Must have hands-on familiarity with a variety of computer applications, including word processing, databases (such as document review and file management systems), spreadsheets, and imaging.
Role also requires hands-on familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources.
