More About the Role:
Provide launch and rehearsal display system operational support at control centers located at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station during countdown and flight operations.
Provide display system testing, configuration management, systems integration, and system administration support.
Work in a team environment using Agile software development practices and procedures. Contribute to initiatives designed to improve internal software development processes.
You may be asked to :
Design, develop and maintain PC applications in Java using Eclipse.
Experience with Node.js, jQuery, and Bootstrap is a plus.
Agile based software development.
Familiarity with XML and JSON formatting.
Web-based communications using AJAX.
Familiarity with the Windows operating systems in a networked environment.
Ability to apply technical knowledge towards problem solving using a “best tool for the job” approach
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Currently enrolled undergraduate student.
U. S. Citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain clearance if needed.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Pursuing a degree in software engineering of a related field.
GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Previous internship or other experience.
Requires some experience in computer operations, system administration, or other IT duties.

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $34,100-$68,200. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
