Come join our team supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), enabling more efficient and effective support to our Nation’s veterans. CACI is seeking out highly-motivated individuals who will support VA’s mission in collaborating on the creation of information technology strategic plans and enterprise roadmaps, coordinating the strategic plan all levels and stakeholders, and playing a critical role the future success of VA’s missions.

This is a senior consulting position who leads efforts on the project in many aspects, including but not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing strategic goals

  • Developing and implementing innovative products, processes, or approaches achieved through research and integration of best practices

  • Is comfortable communicating with executive leadership

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position involves work with different aspects of the Veterans Affairs Office of Enterprise Integration (OEI), include tasks such as:

  • Serving as an experienced business process analyst, assisting in the coordination of team efforts with other SMEs and stakeholders in implementing VA’s alignment of strategic goals, strategic objectives and new enterprise initiatives within the organization

  • Working with senior team members on the alignment of VA’s business architecture and future goals along with each departments organization, statutory requirements, annual performance plan metrics, operational performance measures, IT systems, modernization efforts, enterprise risk, policies and directives and audit findings with GAO recommendations

  • Working with teams of SMEs and coordinating with stakeholders on identifying and addressing requirements for strategic planning and directive updates

  • Creating deliverables with stakeholders and SMEs with requirements and the organizations vision on the strategic vision for the program

  • Creating plan reviews, tools for implementation, and processes improvements with stakeholder through an established process defined by the team and organization

  • Consultation and participation of periodic workshops to help finalize plans and requirements for the organization

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • BA/BS degree +5 Years’ experience

  • Experience with IT strategic plans, enterprise roadmaps, or IT governance

  • Experience with the MS Office suite of tools and SharePoint familiarity

  • Ability to assist in leading groups of other analysts and SMEs through the team process for identifying strategies and addressing evolving requirements towards VA’s plans

  • Experience in the creation of plans that align with the organization’s vision

  • Detailed written and oral communication skills, comfort with presentations to leadership with management, and approval of briefs or workshops created for high-level stakeholders

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with Veterans Affairs (VA)

  • Experience with Federal IT or IRM Strategic Planning processes

  • Experience with Federal IT Enterprise Roadmaps

  • Experience with Federal IT Governance

  • Experience with Federal Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution processes

  • Experience in leading aspects of the program and project leaders to identify requirements to strategic plans and objectives

  • Experience with analysis of requirements against fiscal, schedule, and performance issues

  • Experience assisting and coordinating facilitated events/demos to solicit more stakeholder feedback and practice continuous process improvement (CPI)
