Job Description

CACI is currently looking for outstanding Cisco ISE Engineer to join our TSA IT Management, Performance Analysis, and Collaborative Technologies (IMPACT) team in the National Capital Region (NCR) and throughout the United States. CACI will provide a variety of IT services through IMPACT including cyber security, identity and access management, risk management, cloud integration and engineering, field support services, service desk, application deployment and optimization, and operations center support services. CACI will support TSA in both classified and unclassified IT operational environments increasing availability and security for a variety of applications and systems. IMPACT services will integrate with the broader DHS mission and enhance existing Department-wide IT capabilities.

What You’ll Get to Do:

The Cisco ISE Engineer will oversee, manage, and coordinate network policy, configuration, and troubleshooting in support of the TSA network infrastructure. Duties will include managing the network and infrastructure requirements, collaborating with government and third-party stakeholders, coordinating with internal support teams on the IMPACT Program, and reporting status to technical management and leadership.

  • Configuration and administration of Cisco ISE

  • Troubleshoots and configures routers and switch

  • Uses the Remedy ITSM tool to initiate, respond, and track tickets

  • Creates reports and analyzes metrics

  • Adheres to Change Management processes and procedures

  • Creates and follows SOPs

  • Knowledge and implementation configurations of F5 Load Balancers

  • Daily administration of the load balancer environment

  • Monitors network performance, troubleshoots issues and deploys solutions

  • Plans and implements upgrades and installs new equipment

  • Evaluates modern technologies to optimize network efficiency

  • In depth knowledge of TCP/IP Protocols

  • Functional understanding of network Layer 2 /3 switching and routing protocols

  • Functional understanding of diverse set of networked applications and terms requiring application traffic management solutions, including HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, FTP, DNS, NTP, ANYCAST services, NAT and others.

  • DMZ Network infrastructure knowledge including topology, security policies, firewalls and the L2/L3 switch and router infrastructure is required

  • Inform management in a clear, concise, and timely manner of any customer or technical issues

  • Satisfactorily complete and maintain quarterly internal training and certification standard

  • Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while exhibiting a personable, polite and patient behavior

  • Be responsive and decisive on adjusting architecture as customer requirements and technology evolves

  • Results-oriented resource who can develop and manage relationships across the organization based on trust, teamwork and knowledge

  • Experience managing across the ITIL Service Lifecycle Framework with specific knowledge of the Service Design Coordination, Transition Planning & Support and Release & Deployment Management processes

  • Credibility to influence peers and executive management

  • Excellent Verbal Skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with people who have varying degrees of technical expertise

  • Ability to produce quality documentation (understand difference between standard, best practice, design & process documents

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance

  • Ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD)

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years of related work experience

  • Proven communicator and leader. Must be able to work well in an environment facilitating a large group of government and other contractor personnel to achieve a common goal

  • Detail oriented

  • Flexible – The environment is highly dynamic. You will be expected to keep up with the changing environment while ensuring a high-level of operational effectiveness

  • Team Player – This role is part of a much larger team
