Come join our Ever Vigilant CACI team for a rewarding career in an innovative effort to create and evolve a highly visible IT and professional solutions project which supports the Department of Defense (DoD). This work will involve contributing to a technical team of Database Administrators following the SAFe Agile methodology to serve their PMO with application management, modernization, and support.
The CACI Team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Database Administrator with a variety of design and architectural skills and an understanding of continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline to enable an agile DevOps Strategy. In this role, you will harness your skills and contributions to the team collaborating with other technical and functional SMEs, administrators and engineering team members to successfully release and update IT related projects for the customer.
What You'll Get To Do:
Contribute to the efforts of setup, configuration, design and development of supported application software solutions
Participate in allactivities around the Agile/SCRUM methodology, sprints, tools, support software configuration, process refinement, and documentation related to the database and backend tools
Serve as a liaison between the database architect and overall development team working closely with other data analysts
Assist clients in overcoming challenges by understanding their data and data configurations to properly derive valuable reports
Collaborate with other SMEs and contributeto the development of more junior team members with supervision and mentoring
Engage with customers onsite, from CACI offices, and remotely when necessary
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
BS or higher degree 7+ years’ experience in database administration, configuration and support of IT projects
7years’ experience with PostgreSQL databases, MySQL, including administration, data manipulation, security, performance and optimization
5+ years of Angular integration with REST services
Experience with delivering high quality code/scripts employing industry best practices such as TDD, Pair programming and peer reviews
Ability to work closely with Test Engineers on automated test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, Jasmine, or similar tools
Ability to conduct research and analyze new technologies and tools and provide recommendations and plan to implement
Ability to be independent, creative and challenged as well as able to work collaboratively with other knowledgeable and like-minded SMEs
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with cloud database technologies and tools, including some AWS technologies
Understanding of both Windows and Linux platforms
Knowledge and understanding of query optimization, database tuning, and data encryption
Experience with shell scripting
Experience with ETL processes or tools like Clover, Pentaho, etc.
Experience with open source back end technologies Node.js and NoSQL Database
Experience with Git/GitHub and Jira tools
Knowledge of Information Assurance compliance to specified standards NIST Standards for Cyber Security, Risk Management Framework (RMF) process
Any IA/Security certification is a plus (Security+)
