What You’ll Get to Do:

As a Deployment Manager at CACI, you'll manage a team of highly technical Cyber deployment and integration engineers responsible for implementing cutting edge Cyber defense technologies in support of DHS.

The DHS CDM Program mission is to safeguard and secure cyberspace in an environment where the threat of cyber-attack is continuously growing and evolving. The CDM Program defends the United States Federal IT networks from cybersecurity threats by providing continuous monitoring sensors (tools), diagnosis, mitigation tools, and associated services to strengthen the security posture of Government networks.

More About the Role:

  • Manages a large team or multiple smaller teams which would typically consist of both experienced professionals and managers

  • Manage deployment team resources to ensure adequate personnel coverage to execute each component deployment

  • Problems faced may be difficult to moderately complex

  • Establishes or works to implement key elements of tactical and operational plans with measurable contribution towards the achievement of results of the sub-function or completion of a project.

  • Makes significant decisions on what their team of responsibility focuses on or executes as directed.

  • Focus is on short-to mid-term operational plans (e.g., 1-2 years). Develops new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of the job function strategy.

  • Responsible for all Request for Service (RFS) Deployment services and Handover to Operations

  • Responsible for making moderate to significant improvements of processes, systems or products to enhance performance of job area or demonstrates technical innovation in supporting business objectives.

  • Responsible for deployment project success, allocating resources to complete Request for Service and implementing processes and procedures

  • Communicates with parties within and outside of own job function, which may include external customers or vendors depending upon the job function.

  • Accountable for successful knowledge transfer and training of all deployed CDM capabilities, both CACI Tier II/III and DHS/Component service providers

  • Typically, has hiring, firing, promotion and reward authority within own area, in accordance with manager review and approval.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Requires broad management knowledge to lead project teams in one department.

  • Typically has mastery level knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the job function

  • 12+ Years in experience

  • Experience (or Familiarity) with NIST SP 800-37 Risk Management Framework and NIST SP 800-53 Security Controls and/or DHS4300A and B controls and control enhancements as well as Ongoing Assessment and Ongoing Authorization concepts and tools,

  • Experience (or Familiarity) with NIST SP 800-61 Rev 2 Computer Security Incident Handling Guide and Incident Response tools and processes, e.g. US CERT reporting guidelines/timelines, etc.

  • Experience (or Familiarity) with Cloud and Mobile technologies

  • Experience (or Familiarity) with Microsegmentation, Advanced Data Protection, Digital Rights Management tools technologies

  • Experience (or Familiarity) with the concepts of Tech Refresh, Configuration Management, Change Management, Agile, ITIL, COBIT, or PMBoK methodologies

  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active security clearance

  • Ability to obtain DHS Entrance on Duty

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • CISSP Certification

  • PMP Certification

  • Splunk, Cloud, or Agile based certifications, e.g. Splunk User/Power User, Scrum Master

  • ITIL Certification
