What You’ll Get to Do
- Engineer, install, integrate, test, and document software solutions to monitor a network that stretches across the globe.
More About the Role
Experience with Linux systems administration.
Experience in an Agile development environment using Jira or other work tracking software.
Experience remediating issues found from security vulnerability scans (patching, operating system hardening.)
install COTS tools and document configurations.
Perform system maintenance and upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
Monitor system performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
Develop and execute contingency plans for system resiliency.
Test patches and upgrades in the lab environment.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
TS/SCI with FSP required
Experience with hosting applications in Linux
Experience with installing and configuring COTS tools
Experience with security best practices such as hardening systems
Excellent communication skills in technical, business, and client interactions
Experience working in a dynamic and collaborative environment
Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of related work experience
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
DevSecOps experience in cloud environment using tools such as GitLab/Hub and Jenkins
Experience using Atlassian tools – Confluence, JIRA
Experience working with virtualization in the cloud
Cloud certification (AWS, Azure)
