The CACI Team is seeking a highly-motivated mid-level System Engineer or Architect with a focus on Geospatial Systems with plenty of growth opportunities and the technical expertise to “harness the power of the cloud”. As a Geospatial Engineer, you will harness your skills and contribution to the team collaborating with technical SMEs and other teams to examine a range of data, including geographical, GIS, cartographic, samples, and satellite that helps to tackle client issues/needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities.

What You'll Get To Do:

  • Provides proper subject matter expertise in the user of Geospatial Engineering and Intelligence gathering in the cloud and cloud-based tools throughout the IT enterprise.

  • Performing complex geospatial and intelligences system integration in support of forward focused customer operations.

  • Examines a range of data, from geographic, to satellites, and samples.

  • Contributes to the creation of and reporting of spatial data sets, map and database updates, and prepares reports for the client.

  • Drives success by prototyping and recommending tools and solutions based on research of the current environment and their knowledge of various on premise, cloud based, and hybrid resources.

  • Performing duties in maintenance, integration and administration of geospatial systems architecture for data management and intelligence.

  • Works with other SMEs and contributes to the development of more junior team members with supervision and motoring capabilities.

  • Engage with customers onsite, from CACI offices, and remotely when necessary.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree +5 years’ experience

  • Secret Clearance or higher

  • Possess the ability to identify future Geospatial data systems requirements and integration techniques to assist GEOINT, All-Source, HUMINT, SIGINT, and OSINT analysts in expert intelligence production.

  • Have a thorough understanding of geospatial scripting using, but not limited to Python, Perl, and Shell to enable intelligence analysts to access geospatial data.

  • Understand with automating common tasks with easy to use scripts written to analyst requirements.

  • Expert understanding of multiple intelligence file formats, transmission formats, network protocols and inter-network communication capabilities.

  • Ability to be independent, creative and challenged and work with other knowledgeable and like-minded SMEs

Desired Qualifications:

  • MA or MS degree + 3 years’ experience.

  • Experience with GEOINT and similar database software to include, but not limited to ESRI ArcGIS 10+, ESRI ArcGIS for Server 10+, SQL Server 2008, PostGIS, PostgreSQL, GeoCache and GEOserver and Data Doors.

  • Additional experience with targeting and collection management.

  • Additional years of general experience in the fields of cartographic review, intelligence systems architecture and geospatial systems experience are highly desirable.

  • Understand of the Agile/SCRUM methodology and applying some of the Agile best practices.

  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of engineers and technical SMEs as well as less technical customers who need help in understanding.

  • Knowledge of Information Assurance compliance to specified standards NIST Standards for Cyber Security, Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
