The Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Governance and Compliance Support Analyst attends all MSI meetings to capture minutes, document decisions, and track action items. Applicants will ensure meetings comply with their approved charters and track initiatives to closure or escalation. Successful applicants will also facilitate the idea/demand ingest process for new or revised ServiceNow capabilities for the MSI environment.
As the Governance and Compliance Support Analyst, you get to:
Facilitate the end-to-end Demand Management process from idea, to demand, to projects, and/or enhancements utilizing the ServiceNow Demand Application
Facilitate and compile minutes and actions for three (3) meetings a week to support the Demand process including triage, demand review boards, and technical exchange meetings
Attend all Governance boards and forums to document attendance and key discussion points (minutes)
Support the tracking and closure of all initiatives or action items captured at each forum
Support linkage among meetings, boards, and forums to ensure the entire Ecosystem is moving in the same direction
Perform as a self-starter who manages end-to-end efforts, working independently, as well as within a Team environment
Leverage knowledge and best practice experience to identify and champion recommendations for improvement opportunities across the Ecosystem
Monitor the entire Governance structure to ensure it meets the intent and direction of the approved charters and provides value to Senior Leadership in attendance
Support in the preparation of briefs and reports to the Government and peer Service Providers
Deliver high-quality work and adapt to new challenges, either on your own or as part of a Team
Position Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with the various boards/forums, charters, and process documentation
Thorough documentation of decisions, discussions, and actions at each board/forum
Track identified initiatives and actions to conclusion or escalation
Provide input for materials briefed at each forum for clarity and compliance
Facilitate meetings for the Demand Management Process
Required Qualifications:
TS/SCI with Poly Required
Bachelor’s Degree OR 6+ years of related work experience
Working knowledge of the ITSM processes
Knowledge of ITIL processes with the ability to obtain the ITIL 4 certification within three months of hire
Experience managing projects to meet schedules and milestones
An aptitude to learn new technology quickly
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Solid analysis and reporting skills
Ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience (briefing)
Ability to facilitate reoccurring technical/non-technical meetings and working groups
