What You’ll Get to Do:
Work with an agile, fast paced team focused on defending our client’s global networks through threat hunting and tactical analysis of ongoing attacks. In this role, you will be challenged to dig into various platforms to discover data anomalies. This person should have a wide of range knowledge and skills, such as computer forensics/mobile device forensics, data recovery, reverse engineering intrusion analysis and methodologies, intelligence analysis, and vulnerability assessments. This is an exciting opportunity to work on highly visible projects that directly make an impact to the Nations mission. You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Must have an active TS/SCI with required Polygraph clearance
Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific or technical discipline
Demonstrated knowledge of and hands on experience with data management software such as Cloudera
Maintain and administer the cluster and keep it in working order to meet network security needs
Maintain the health and wellness of the data within the data set to include troubleshooting, resolution and mitigation
Coordination across stakeholders for ingestion, parsing, processing and storage of data sets; manage and ensure successful execution of ingestion, parsing, processing and storage
Identify, mitigate, and communicate outages to stakeholders and swiftly seek resolution
Work with partner organization to coordinate storage and compute expansion needs
Ability to work well in a team, and across the organization; understand the organization immediate and long term strategy and needs
Work well with others to bring solutions to fruition, excellent interpersonal and communication skills a must
You May Also Bring (Desired):
Previous experience managing a Hadoop cluster , or virtualized cluster , or both within a Cloudera environment
Some proficiency with Java, Python, and/or C# is helpful
Strong understanding of network fundamentals
Experience with data storage, database structures
