CACI International Information Security Officer in Chantilly, Virginia
CACI is looking for a mid-level Information Security Officer with a background in Windows, Database, or Network Administration who can coordinate daily efforts for the security and accreditation of an Army budget program.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Working closely with current ISSO, internal technical team and customer IA team members on the Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation process and all the guidelines and policies for proper Information Assurance and Security. This individual will support the team and customer with all the coordination, documentation, solutioning, and continuous monitoring of our system.
Working with our current IAO, this Information Assurance Administrator will help to coordinate efforts across multiple customers for the Army with regard to security, patching, ATO approvals, RMF Packages, eMASS updates, and working with administrators on remediation efforts.
Will coordinate efforts to help resolve security findings related to installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Windows and Oracle Database servers working with administrators. Responsible for ensuring correct configurations with other administrators for system confidentiality, integrity, and availability on the development, testing and training environments and in support of production hosted customer environments.
Contributes to tasks related to the creation of and remediation efforts on network, application, and hosted environments to support computer systems’ security and sustainability.
Contributes to the configuration, integration, configuration control, maintenance, sustainment of IT system resources, hardware, software, peripherals, and data-store assets.
Responsible for developing technical solutions that may require collaboration with internal expertise and deep analysis of technical systems related to Security, IA, and remediation of known findings.
Works with SA Leads, Technical Writer, and ISSO to ensure systems are following Cyber Security regulations and guidelines, proper documentation, and effective scanning and remediation efforts.
Ensures high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical host computer resources.
Works closely with internal team and customer hosting environments to ensure the implementation and validation of Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements for all supported commands.
Acts independently to expose and resolve system security problems that may arise or are found in various scanning efforts.
Working with internal analyst and technical writer, will assist in creating, updating, and maintaining documentation including technical processes, standard operating procedures and system/security artifacts.
Understands and works with existing scanning methods like HBSS, ACAS, SCAP, and efforts to remediate those findings with tools like POA&Ms and eMASS.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Approximately 3+ years of experience in a IT Security related field with a preferred background in Information Assurance and System Administration.
Demonstrates familiarity with implementing the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and utilizing STIG Viewer.
Demonstrates familiarity with the DOD Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) process.
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Security+ Certification (COMPTIA or other) or ability to achieve this in a timely manner.
Secret Clearance or willingness to be vetted for at least a Secret Clearance in a timely manner.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Has an advanced understanding and ability to apply standards, principles, theories, and technical concepts obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
Demonstrates experience and knowledge with Windows Server 2012, Windows 10, and the full suite of Microsoft Office products.
Knowledge of system and data backup/recovery, system auditing and applicable tools, and contributing to technical documentation and artifact creation.
Knowledge in Microsoft Infrastructure technologies
