What You’ll Get to Do:

Opportunity to join dynamic team in support of a highly visible contract in Chantilly, VA for an Intelligence customer. As an Information Security Engineer, you will lead the security efforts as well as be responsible for Certification and Accreditation.

More About the Role:

As the senior level Information Security Specialist, you will function as an expert consultant in all aspects of information security and prepare in-depth studies and analyses. You will be responsible for developing new, and improving existing, policies using your extensive knowledge of Information Security practices and principles. In this role, you will also communicate with internal as well as external parties regarding significant matters.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Develop and implement security procedures and ensures compliance with government and IT security policies.

  • Coordinate certification and accreditation for IT systems.

  • Perform file transfers and security classification reviews.

  • Control access to networks and systems.

  • Identifies abnormalities, reports violations, and conducts periodic audits.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 10 + years experience in Information Security related positions.

  • Demonstrated experience in security procedures and compliance

  • Strong knowledge of and experience in Certification and Accreditation policies, procedures and actions

  • This position requires TS/SCI poly
