CACI International Infrastructure/Systems Administration in Chantilly, Virginia
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs software and application installation and upgrades.
Troubleshoots networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.
Installs and repairs desktops and laptops.
Maintains network printers and scanners.
Supports mobile devices such as iPads and iPhones.
Investigates basic user problems, identifies their source, determines possible solutions, tests and implements solutions.
Helps to anticipate communication and networking problems and implement preventive measures.
Establishes and performs routine maintenance programs following company and vendor standards.
Ensures timely user notification of maintenance requirements and effects on system availability.
Maintains confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.
May assist other technical teams in on-site tasks when local resources are not present.
Documents technical problems and resolutions for future reference.
Works with other IT professionals as directed to coordinate efforts, resolve cross-team issues and communicate changes.
Requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent and two to four years of related experience.
Must be proficient with Windows desktop operating systems, as well as Dell hardware.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook.
Must have a solid understanding of network communications.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication as well as customer service skills.
Must have the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Must have excellent time management skills.
Must be able to obtain secret clearance
Must possess the ability to effectively communicate with end users by telephone and email.
