CACI International Java Technical Lead in Chantilly, Virginia
This is a technical lead position supporting the Department of Defense. Primary responsibilities include oversight of development, maintenance and operational support of a Java web-based application. The technical lead will drive efforts to improve the technical architecture and modernize the application with innovations and industry-leading technologies. The technical lead will manage a team of developers and system administrators through software development, technology upgrades, certification and accreditation, and migration efforts to the cloud. The technical lead possesses a good understanding of business applications and will interface with clients while managing daily activities, directing project specific tasks, and reviewing work products.
A Secret clearance is required to begin employment. For this position, CACI has the ability to provide clearance sponsorship for qualified individuals.
Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) and seven to nine years of experience.
Seven years or more of experience using the Java programming language.
Three or more years in a lead role.
Experience with Oracle database and PL-SQL.
Demonstrated ability to manage a project and to provide guidance and direction for specific projects or sub-tasks.
Experience with modern UI Frameworks.
Experience with agile methodologies.
Experience supporting application development for the Federal Government.
Experience supporting the DoD Accreditation and Certification process using the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Experience with cloud solutions, such as Amazon Web Service.
