What You’ll Get to Do:

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in development using Python, and Javascript. Establishes and/or works to achieve team objectives and contributes to Sprint plans with a measurable contribution towards the achievement of results of the job function or completion of tasks assigned by the leads/PMs of the project. Candidate will also contribute to Cloud initiatives, ServiceNow project development, and operations.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship required

  • An active Entrance on Duty (EOD) is required to begin employment and must be maintained as a requirement of continued employment

  • College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience considered in lieu of degree

  • 6-months of experience in software development

  • Strong hands-on development experience and ability to work with cross-functional Development/Integration and Test Teams leads, as required

  • Must be a Self-starter to learn and work on Remedy, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Oracle, Python, Javascript-based solutions

  • Contribute to the Operations team and SOPs

  • Work under the general guidance of the team leads, with ability to identify and manage risk

  • Excellent communication skills in English in written and spoken form

  • Strong collaboration skills and desire to work within a team

  • Ability to work under the team lead's guidance to solve unusually complicated problems

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Active DoD Clearance preferred, but not required

  • Familiarity with any of the following is highly desirable: XML, SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, VMware, client-server, Object-Oriented Development, Continuous integration, testing, UML, and Class diagrams

  • Technical Certifications

  • ServiceNow Certification

  • Microsoft tools certification

  • Git lab experience and DevOps Pipeline experience

  • JIRA, TFS and VersionOne Agile project tools

  • Experience with Javascript, Perl and other scripting languages

  • Familiarity with multiple platforms and IAAS, SAAS, PaaS or aPaaS

  • Ability to learn advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas
