You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
US Citizenship required
An active Entrance on Duty (EOD) is required to begin employment and must be maintained as a requirement of continued employment
College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience considered in lieu of degree
6-months of experience in software development
Strong hands-on development experience and ability to work with cross-functional Development/Integration and Test Teams leads, as required
Contribute to the Operations team and SOPs
Work under the general guidance of the team leads, with ability to identify and manage risk
Excellent communication skills in English in written and spoken form
Strong collaboration skills and desire to work within a team
Ability to work under the team lead's guidance to solve unusually complicated problems
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Active DoD Clearance preferred, but not required
Familiarity with any of the following is highly desirable: XML, SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, VMware, client-server, Object-Oriented Development, Continuous integration, testing, UML, and Class diagrams
Microsoft tools certification
Git lab experience and DevOps Pipeline experience
JIRA, TFS and VersionOne Agile project tools
Familiarity with multiple platforms and IAAS, SAAS, PaaS or aPaaS
Ability to learn advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas
